Die dunkle, leicht transparente Hülle passt perfekt um das DHD, nichts rutscht oder schlägt Falten. Alle Tasten funktionieren einwandfrei, lediglich die Taste oben (ein/aus) reagiert etwas träger. Insgesamt fasst sich das Gerät deutlich griffiger an als ohne Hülle. Super - vor allem für den Preis - die beiliegende Screenschutzfolie. Sie ist hochwertig, passt perfekt auf den screen und lässt sich wirklich leicht aufbringen. Sie ist relativ dick und damit so stabil, dass sie beim Aufbringen eben nicht vom screen angezogen wird. Allerdings: Zumindest beim DHD muss vor dem Anbringen festgestellt werden, welche Seite oben oder unten. Die äußeren Rundungen oben und unten sind nämlich nicht identisch und können so leicht verwechselt werden. Gut zu wissen: Nachträgliche Korrekturen sind wirklich problemlos machbar. Insgesamt eine Aufwertung des DHD und ein sehr guter Schutz. Dafür gibt's 5 Sterne.

This item is comprised of two parts. A gel body skin and a screen protector. The screen protector is the usual affair, see through and sticky. Very nice. The skin is what makes this product different. It has two different coatings, on the sides it is a different type of plastic. This means that getting a grip whilst handheld is achieved whilst keeping the bulk of the phone slippery enough to avoid it getting snagged on your pocket lining. It is slightly reinforced whilst being very pliable and is a good tight fit.

Bought this to replace a rather tired looking (and going brown) case mate skin for my DHD. This Capdase skin is a really snug fit, in fact it was a bit of fiddle getting it on. But once on, it fits beautifully. And it seems to come around and over the front of the phone a little further than the case mate skin. No problems with access to all the ports, all the apertures line up perfectly, including the camera lens (which is nicely protected by the protusion of the cover around the lens). I love the way the facing edges of the case are a gloss finish, and the back is a matte finish. Grippy, but doesn't snag when sliding in and out of pockets. Note, the case retains a smooth, flush fit over the power button and volume rocker. There aren't any bumps to let you feel your way to the buttons. Not sure what the lanyard holes are there for though, perhaps they suit the Telus handset this case is also compatible with.
