Coque Case-Mate Tough iPhone 4S / 4

Wanted to get best value for money without compromising on style and durability; case meets those requirements perfectly. I have broken my right hand and still found it extremely easy to put both the inner softer skin and the harder outer case on. Just after I had fitted it my husband dropped my iPhone face down on laminate flooring (I didn't have a screen protector). I feared the worse but the phone was intact and the case hadn't budged an inch. Have had this case for a few weeks now and it is still a tight fit showing no wear. Very impressed. Would recommend this case to anyone.

Seemed like a lot of money but mates who have paid less, have got less........ Less quality, less compliments and the need to replace frequently. I was minutely disappointed when I opened the packaging but there is no question that I am delighted now, delighted!

This "Hard Tough Case" is superb. It's not big and bulky, quite the opposite, but offers a very high level of protection for the iphone 4. There's an inner skina, the outer case and a screen protector, all of which make a solid case which looks great and won't break the bank. Far, far better than the over-complicated and over-hyped Ivyskin Quattro 4.

Excellent case. The soft interior just slips on and the outer case is a great fit and looks as if it's part of the phone. I really love the texture of the outer case as it provides an excellent grip so there is no fear of dropping the phone. It's not likely to slip off a table or desk either. All ports/buttons are usable. I thought it was expensive when I ordered it but it's definitely worth the money.

Only had the case 2 weeks so can't vouch for its long term durability, but it's a tough dual layered case which serves its purpose well. I would recommend it.

Did so much searching for a case for the iphone 4 and eventually decided on this one. Not the cheapest, but it is brilliant. It's very strong and encases the expensive iphone beautifully and you can access all the buttons on the ipone easily. Would definitely reccommend this case. Before I mention the case I must thank Mobile Fun for their excellent service, as always. Ok onto the case. It arrived well packaged and complete with screen protector, squeegy and microfibre cloth which is always a nice touch. The case consists of two pieces, an inner silicon and a very durable outer. The silicon cossets your precious Iphone in soft luxury and prevents any scratches to the back whilst the outer fits very snugly and is very hardwearing. All the phones ports are easily accessible and the camera and flash are not obstructed as can be the problem with some cases. The case is in no way bulky and the Iphone really is set off well. The only downside to what is a very good case is the fact that it won't sit in a standard Apple desktop dock and removing the case is quite difficult as it fits so well. That aside I have no critisism of the case and consider that Case Mate really do set the standard by which other manufacturers should follow. A 5 star case by a 5 star maker.

I've had protective cases for other phones which have been discarded soon after purchase as they don't seem to fir poperly or mask some of the buttons on the phone. This case however not only fits very nicely around the phone and protects it all round but also looks good and doesn't increase the size of the phone too much. Function buttons on the iphone are also still easily accessible with the case fitted. Although not cheap I think it's worth the cost.

This is a real quality case from Casemate that has an inner silicon jacket covered by a hard outer case. It is very easy to fit and has a great grippy feel in the hands. It does add a bit of bulk to the phone but it does looks very nice once fitted. The first downside I have found is that the bottom edge, which is silicon feels a little loose. The second is that because the silicon part of the case sits around the edge of the screen, it constantly attracts dust and fluff to the silicon and therefore the screen. Great case with a couple of minor flaws.

Well worth the extra for this case. The silicone rubber inner and the carbonate case do a great job of keeping my phone safe

Tough attractive case, easy to fit and seems as robust as I had hoped. The inner rubber case seems a little flimsy around the interface connector, but it is early days and it may prove stronger than it looks!

It is ideal for iPhone 4 for protection. One has to be extra careful not to damage the rubber casing when mounting on the desk dock

Robust and well fitted case well worth the money £32 inc p&p, in some cases with rubberized cases they snag when you pull them out your pocket with this one the hard case that goes over the top allows it not to stick to everything,best case for open face on this site at present i think. super fast order as per usual with mobile fun

I consider the Case-Mate Hard Tough Case for iPhone 4 to be a brilliant buy. I like the product because in my opinion it give my iPhone maximum protection from scratches and will cushion it should I drop it. Given what the iPhone costs, I think the case is more than value for money!

I was looking for a decent iphone case, and this has been the best by a long way. It enhances the feel of the phone and also sorts the antenna problem too. Highly recommended.

A lovely quality case that far exceeded my expectations. I was pleased that it's actually very dark grey, almost black, as opposed to the photo showing it light grey. The inner silicon skin is ultra soft and smooth and fits the iPhone 4 a treat. The only openings are for silent, headphone jack/top mic, bottom dock, mic and speaker. Volume & lock buttons are covered. The outer hard case fits on very snugly and the two parts become one. The volume buttons show through a precise opening, as do the silent & lock switch. It still retains a textured grippy feel, not hard cheap plastic. Although not cheap I consider it to be worth the outlay, very pleased. I was already using a Zagg full body shield and have left those on inside this case. It comes with its own front screen protector but I haven't had the need to use that.
