A good package
I looked to buy this kit rather than shop around to find all the different bits. I've installed the car bracket and this works really well and doesn't vibrate when the car is on motion. The phone cover and screen protection are both good quality. The only downside to this kit is that the car charger lead is not long enough. I had to buy an extension lead via Ebay which does the job.

smart pack for HTC Desire
I found the phone holder, and the wallet to be very good value indeed, unfortunately the same cannot be said for the screen protector. I found the whole process of applying it rather frustrating. After numerous attempts I finally got it to stick to the screen, but the downside was it was full of air bubbles and the plastic had been scratched by the applicator. End result, I binned it. In my view a complete waste of money.

HTC Desire Smart Pack
Very quick delivery from MobileFun when they had stock in. The car holder and charger is very useful, stays stuck to the screen all the time. It is a little large but then it feels more sturdy then. Didn't really think much of the screen protector. Instructions weren't that clear and I could not get it to stick to the screen without loads of air bubbled. Leather wallet is perfect for in the pocket use. No scratches now.

Pretty impressive
I purchased this just to keep my phone stable in a car. I also wanted something small that I could also take in my bag while travelling (using the holder in hire cars, etc). The result was that I'm pretty much using it permanently in my car (not while travelling) as although it's small it's just the little to bulky for my packing (I never check my luggage, regardless of length of stay!).
so for me, excellent stand and a good charger but just the little bit too bulky for my hand luggage ;-)

overall a good buy
Like other reviews I found the cradle to be excellent. The pouce is idle, if like me you do manual work and you need some protection. Haven't used the protective film yet as already got one on. The down side is definitely the charger. It fits loosely in holder, and unless socket is in centre of dash and high up you really have to stretch cable. If you can buy cradle on it's own for cheaper, that's what I would recommend.

Good value pack of useful additions to your phone
The leather wallet is soft and well stitched fitting the phone snuggly but still making it easy to slide out. The cradle is solid and possitive in its positioning and you can get it to fit almost any angle. The charger is slim and the coiled wire easily stretches to where it was needed. The screen protector is excellent though I found it easy to get fingers under the edge whilst applying and impairing the seal at the corner, though I would not be without it now as it gives excellent protection.

Works like a charm
Leather case is a little bit tight in the beginning, but after a ~week use the Desire fits perfectly.
Car accessories work nicely.
Screen protector is also nice, although assembly is a little bit tricky.
Nevertheless a perfect package.

Charger not working
Thanks mobilefun I order this before 12 and it arrived the next day,slightly disappointed that the car charger felt very flimsy and didn't work.The pouch and the car holder are good quality though,I will go out and purchase a decent charger from a shop.

Smart Pack HTC Desire: Highly Recommended
So the four things that come with this pack are all pretty useful. I definitely put this down as a must have.
Firstly the Car Dock: Great. It's strong, maneuverable and the phone sits in it nicely. I'm waiting on a case-mate cover, and hopefully it'll still fit with that on as there's a little give in the cradle.
Secondly the Charger: It's not amazing, but it meets the needs perectly well. I find the cable a little short and the unit a little flimsy, but it works great.
Thirdly the HTC Case: I don't go anywhere without this now. Phone fits very well, and it's a nice and thick protective cover.
Finally the Screen Protector: Standard enough. Not particularly great, but satisfactory and gets the job done.

EXCELENT VALUE FOR MONEY
I placed my order late afternoon and the next morning received delivery, unbelievable. The product itself is very good value for money, the only criticism I would say is the charger maybe a little bit short for some makes of car.

Good mount, but not flawless.
First of all I would like to point out that for the price you get quite a good package, screen mount, case, car charger and screen protector. The case is quite good quality, the Desire fits very well without being too tight. A gentle squeeze at the base of the case and the phone slides out. The screen protector works well, quite easy to fit as some I've tried always get those difficult air bubbles under the protector. The car charger could have done with being a couple of inches longer, as I didn't like the cradle attached to the middle of my windsheild so I have it to one side which streches the cable. As to the cradle itself, it has good movement in the joints and seems fairly well built. You can turn the phone into landscape for the SatNav which is good. My only gripe with it is that the locking catch to lock the sucker to the screen seems fairly flimsy. It doesn't seem to have enough pressure to lock the rubber sucker to the screen, pretty much every time I try to remove the phone the whole mount comes away. Because of this only I would give it three and a half stars,

A Great Value Buy
I received my kit in 1 working day.
The pouch is very high quality (as you would expect from an official HTC pouch), if not a little difficult to get the desire out sometimes.
The car mount is very solid and works very well, the ability to change the angle of it with 1 hand is a great feature.
I was worried that the car charger wouldn't be able to provide enough power while running gps & Bluetooth, but it managed it flawlessly for 4 hours.
In conclusion, a great value purchase, well worth the money.

Useful Kit
The car cradle is very good; easy to fix and very stable. The car charger is essential, particularly if you are using the phone as a satnav. The case is a high quality & very smart and the screen protector is a must. A very useful kit.

Excellent service from mobile fun, quick delivery, the case looks nice and holds the phone well. The car holder is pretty good quality and holds the phone well, the charger is fine if not a little short for some cars. The only reason I'm not giving this product 5 stars is because of the screen protector which was almost impossible to apply without bubbles and dust getting on it.

Good value pack and a saving on buying the element
The car phone-holder is great. Clamps to the screen nicely and doesn't wobble at all. However, it has left some slight scuff marks on the back of the phone, so be careful when putting your phone into it. Once in, it grips the phone tightly and no danger of it falling out. The angle is easy to adjust, though rotating it through 90 degrees requires you to pull the back plate off and re-insert the other way up. I was expecting it to rotate, but never mind.
The screen guard was pain to fit and in the end i gave up. The case is nice and keeps the phone clean. From other reviews of the car charger, i elected to buy a separate HTC one, so can't really comment on that.

The actual car holder is very sturdy and of good quality, and fits the desire perfectly. The car charger however may be a little to short to charge your phone from and have your desire attached to your windscreen (if navigating) at the same time.

Smart Pack review
The Car Holder is great, but take care of the dust. If there is any on the suction pad, the Holder will fall on the screen of the HTC Desire
The Car Charger has a really small cable, but it fits my needs just right. Must be the case of everyone, though.
The Pouch is excellent. At first view I didn't liked it. Now that I'm using it, I notice it's exactly what it should be !
Finally, the Screen Protector is just some junk you wont even be able to put on your phone. See, I'm a french engineer buying and reviewing in english, and I wasn't able to figure out how to put the Screen Protector. I've already used this kind of stuff for my nintendo DS, and it worked well. Don't know what was the problem with this one, it just never sticked to the phone's screen

It is OK, don\'t regret buying it
As in everything, you lose value for the sake of price.
Screen protector:
GOOD: On the good side, size is perfect protector is not easily scratchable, and you don’t loose much from brightness. I guess if you manage to apply it properly you should be happy.
BAD: Wasn’t easy to apply, despite all the efforts I ended up with a bubble in the middle and a dangling edge.
Pouch:
GOOD: Looks very well made, like it a lot, not too flashy, easy to use, get the phone in and out.
BAD: A bit to large, the phone is a bit loose in it, but is very, very little so it can be ignored.
Car holder:
GOOD: Liked the design and the turning “mechanism”, very good grip.
BAD: Don’t like the holding mechanism, it feels too powerful and after many usage will leave marks on the phone <- I suspect. Would’ve been nice to have a plastic with a more rubbery feel (i.e. like desire back cover). Is not very easy to place the phone in the holder (if you care about the phone).
Car charger:
GOOD: Good cable length, ok build quality.
BAD: The juice it is producing is not enough for HTC Desire to be used as a navigator. If I run my HTC desire navigator, ultimately it will torn off. It will consume more power than the charger is producing.

Good case and car kit but rubbish screen guard
Firstly - the service from Mobilefun was very good - especially the quick delivery. The case is a nice yellow-stitched leather HTC one which is good for the phone and isn't at all bulky. The car charger and holder work fine, though I think with some official HTC kits you get the navigation menu automatically when you plug it in, also the charger doesn't plug into the mount so you need to connect it to your phone before mounting, which is a bit more fiddly.
Finally the big disappointment was the screen guard. Trying to get it on without bubbling was a nightmare. Then I saw some dirt had got under it (despite being careful when fitting). I tried lifting it to remove the dirt, then it smeared the guard because it's slightly sticky. The result - it had to go in the bin. The fact that you only get one of these is laughable since they can only cost pennies to make.
So, overall the pack is ok value for money but don't be under any illusions about actually getting a clear, bubble free screen guard. Oh well...

Received the next day which is great. Case is very nice, yet to test out the car charger/holder. Applied the protective screen with relative ease however had slight air bubble trouble down one corner (didn't seem as sticky/might be slight overlapping)

charger is fairly short but can extend due to coiled design so its not a big problem, phone holder for window is excellent with full directional options. package drops a star for me tho as there was only one chance with the screen protector which in my case held static and attracted minute dust particles when i removed the backing so didnt work properly. all in all tho - recommend this product.

Good value
Haven't used the car charger yet but am very happy with the rest of the kit. The case is a good fit- easy to get the phone in and out but not so loose that the phone falls out of it. The car holder is strong and has good grip + clever design. The screen protector is completely invisible once fitted, yet the screen is still very sensitive.

Not all bad
The screen cover was not good. Did't stick and the front label did't come off, so it went in the bin. The holder is ok but there are better. Had trouble with it sticking to the screen, suction is weak. Phone is tricky to get in holder due to rake of screen (I have a Mazda 3)The leather pouch is fine but a bit pointless as by the time you have got the phone out whoever is calling has gone. The car charger is perfect. So that's 25% of the contents.

very appy i got this bundle. Th car holder is very sturdy doesn't move and is very adjustable.

Just what I needed
This kit is perfect for the HTC Desire.
An original case from HTC, keeps the screen nice and clean. Car Holder and Car Charger is perfectly styled, not too bulky like some i've seen. The screen protector however is a little tricky to put on but hey... tell me a screen protector that isnt?

Excellent value for the money
This a good pack. The car stand fits my Desire pretty well and the genuine pouch is as good as the one I had for my Magic.
I will not be using the screen protector for now, but anyway the combined price is better than buying the items separately, so no issue there :).

Good quality kit but charger underpowered
The pouch fits the Desire like a glove, and the screen protector, whilst difficult to apply, is almost unnoticeable on the screen and doesn't affect the touchscreen sensitivity. The car bracket is very good quality and when stuck to the windscreen, it doesn't wobble or rattle at all. Rock solid. However, the supplied car charger is only rated at 500mA, which is not enough to charge the phone when the screen and GPS receiver is in use (need 1A like the Desire's mains adaptor). Kind of defeats the object of a car kit. But the other bits are fine.

This is a great buy and worth every penny. My only criticism, the Screen Guard very tricky to peel backing, apply and have a bubble free screen.
