A bit like Ronseal "It Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin". Except of course there is no tin. In it's place is a transformer which does a grand job. We live in Scotland, and on a recent trip down South, this came in handy. It meant we could watch D.V.D's, using an external D.V.D drive, while taking a break from the driving. With the in car charger, there was no worry about draining the battery of the Net-Book. We also have mobile broadband which takes it's power from the U.S.B port. Not a problem when you have the in car charger. It also means you don't really need the mains adaptor as the device can be charged up from the car battery. It can then be neatly stowed in the glove box out of the way when not needed.
